The S.C. Department of Mental Health employs over 6,000 employees in a system of 17 community mental health centers and three inpatient facilities. PCMHS is one of SCDMH's community mental health centers, and employs over 100 clinical staff and close to 30 administrative staff. We participate in several of the SCDMH's national acclaimed programs such as telecommunications for the deaf; a satellite system for training and education; and the school based services program and other innovative programs for children. We join with the others of the SCDMH in dedicating ourselves to making our services more effective, accessible, and accountable to the persons we serve and to their families.
